Welcome to PlayerTheBand, the ultimate destination for classic rock and yacht rock music! Founded in the late 1970s, our band has been a mainstay in the music industry for decades, delivering timeless hits that continue to captivate audiences of all ages.

At PlayerTheBand, we pride ourselves on our unique blend of classic rock and yacht rock music. We’ve been referred to as the “pioneers of yacht rock,” thanks to our signature sound that combines rock, jazz, and R&B elements. Our music has been described as smooth, soulful, and romantic, with a touch of breezy California style that transports listeners to the sun-soaked beaches of the West Coast.

Our band consists of four incredibly talented musicians: Ronn Moss on bass, Peter Beckett on lead vocals and guitar, John Friesen on drums, and J.C. Crowley on vocals and keyboards. Together, we have created some of the most iconic hits of the 70s and beyond, including the timeless classic “Baby Come Back.”

Ronn Moss, our bassist, is perhaps best known for his role as Ridge Forrester on the long-running soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful.” However, Ronn’s passion for music has always been a major part of his life, and he brings a wealth of experience and talent to our band. Peter Beckett, our lead vocalist and guitarist, is also a prolific songwriter who has written for a number of other artists, including Olivia Newton-John and Janet Jackson.

Our band has toured extensively throughout the United States and around the world, and we continue to perform live shows to this day. We love connecting with our fans and sharing our music with new audiences.
